Academic Journey and Background

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM) in Uberaba, Brazil, studied from 2003 to 2007. During this time, I developed a solid foundation in biomedical sciences and a growing interest in understanding how the human body responds to disease.

As part of my undergraduate studies, I completed a monograph titled “Induction of Resistance to Benznidazole in Human Isolates of Trypanosoma cruzi”. This research contributed to parasitology and molecular biology by offering valuable insights into drug resistance mechanisms in Trypanosoma cruzi, the parasite responsible for Chagas disease.

I later earned a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP), focusing on experimental lung cancer research in mice. This work led to the publication of a scientific article titled “The Influence of Physical Activity in the Progression of Experimental Lung Cancer in Mice” in Pathol Res Pract in 2012.
